History in the works tonight........

How many are going to be watching FARVE in his debut as a Viking tonight??
Do you think he can be effective for an entire season especially with playoff games if that actually happens?

it isn't his debut tonight but I'm watching. as I stated on another forum (which censored his name so I had to spell it F.aver) when healthy he is a top 10 QB. before he was hurt last year he was the leading passer in the AFC and maybe the NFL at the time. I think he will have to only throw about 18 times a game and I think the Vikings need to pull him early when they get the chance to. He is not in NFL shape and will need more rest than the other guys. He will wear down if they don't monitor his time and throws.

And AP just proved why they don't need Farve and what the game plan in minny is.

The Vikings have a great RB duo, great line, great defense. They shouldn't have to throw it much to win. But with Favre airing it out to Berrian, Harvin, and Rice that is scary. The Vikes are my pick to win the superbowl.

without Favre other teams just load up on the run. With Favre look for AP to have much more open running lanes and challenge the 2,000 yard mark this year.

They will look great for the first half of the season and falter in the second half.

Farve hasn't impressed me though, his name can only take him so far, if teams see he doesn't have it anymore...he's not a factor. I've seen he make passes any QB can make, nothing big and he's moving like Brad "the statue" Johnson. He can't move, he's going to get his **** rocked all season, doubt if he finishes it out really.
